NetEffect Merges with uptimeLV

NetEffect and uptimeLV, two of the leading computer and information technology support and consulting service providers, announced the companies have mergedLAS VEGAS  – NetEffect and uptimeLV, two of the leading, Las Vegas-based, computer and information technology support and consulting service providers, announced the companies have merged.  The company will retain the NetEffect name, and the merger will make NetEffect the largest Managed Services Provider in Southern Nevada.

Established in 2001, uptimeLV, Inc. was a Las Vegas-based IT company that specialized in network and computer sales, installation, system design, consulting and maintenance.

NetEffect CEO Jeff Grace said he and uptimeLV owner, David Rounds, have been contemplating a merger for four years.

“The business climate in Las Vegas is diversifying and maturing. With the combined resources, Las Vegas businesses will benefit from NetEffect’s ability to provide a level of IT service and expertise on par with any other major U.S. market.” Grace said. “This is the right partnership at the right time.”

Grace and Rounds said the merger will provide many advantages to their clients, including improved execution on projects, deeper and broader skill sets, and improved CIO level expertise and consulting. The has  expanded hours of operation to be open until 11 p.m.

“We were great as separate entities, but together, the new NetEffect will be an amazing company providing unparalleled IT consulting, service and support to our clients,” Rounds said.
